B1 Tourism Visitor Visa

With a B1 visa, you can

     
    1. travel
    2. visit family or friends
    3. attend : meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions, seminars, or similar events
    4. or transit in Indonesia to go to other countries.

Visa type

     

    The B1 visa is a visa on arrival for single entry to Indonesia. The visa is eligible for specific countries with a first stay permit of up to 30 days, starting from the arrival date. This stay permit is extendable once for another 30 days. It is eligible for conversion into another type of stay permit through a bridging visa mechanism.

Length of stay

     
    • You can stay in Indonesia for up to 30 days, starting from the arrival date. 
    • You can extend this stay permit one time for another 30 days. 
    • If you are an e-VoA holder (applying online), you can extend your stay permit online via evisa.imigrasi.go.id. or you can apply through indonesiavoa.vfsevisa.id
    • If you are a non-electronic VoA holder (obtained at the airport/seaport/land border), you can extend your stay permit at the nearest immigration office from your domicile.

Cost (PNBP)

     
    • Visa B1 cost IDR 500,000 (for 30 days)
    • Verification cost I/II IDR 0
    • Payment for an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) is using digital payment with a debit/credit card
    • Payment for a non-electronic Visa on Arrival is at a designated bank counter in the immigration inspection area

Visa application

     

    Pre-Arrival Application and Payment

    Foreigners from countries subject to visa on arrival must:

    • apply through evisa.imigrasi.go.id or you can apply through indonesiavoa.vfsevisa.id
    • fill out the form and upload your digital document files, including:

    a.  passport biodata page that is still valid for at least 6 months at the date you are applying  (untuk pemegang dokumen perjalanan selain paspor kebangsaan seperti paspor darurat, dokumen identitas, dll harus berlaku selama 12 bulan)

    b.  recent color photograph. Details

    c.  return tickets or onward tickets to other countries, except for crew members who will stop to join their ship and continue their journey to another country

    • pay using digital payment methods via debit/credit cards 
    • check your evisa account and email, because the system will send the electronic visa on arrival (e-VoA) within 1x24 hours.
     

    Pre-Arrival Application and Payment on Arrival

    Foreigners from countries subject to visa on arrival must:

    • apply through evisa.imigrasi.go.id
    • fill out the form and upload files electronically, including:

    a.  biodata page of a valid passport that is still valid for at least 6 months before its expiration

    b.  recent color photograph (last year). Details

    c.  return ticket or onward ticket to another country, except for crew members of transportation equipment who will stop over to join their ship and continue their journey to another country

    • pay using a digital payment method via SIMPONI (pay in Indonesian national banks with billing code)/debit/credit card
    • obtain their electronic visa on arrival at the visa counter.
     

    Application and Payment on Arrival

    To apply for a visa on arrival at an Indonesian international airport/seaport/land border, foreigners from countries subject to visa on arrival:

    • must first make payment for a non-electronic visa on arrival at a designated bank counter in the immigration inspection area of ​​the airport/seaport by showing a passport that is still valid for at least 6 months at the date you are applying
    • obtain a visa voucher printed on security paper as proof of payment for Visa on Arrival
    • show the visa voucher to the immigration officer at the Visa on Arrival counter
    • obtain a Visa on Arrival sticker that is attached to the passport and an electronic entry mark.

Other provisions

     
    • Foreigners without citizenship or foreigners holding travel documents (not national passports) in the form of temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez passer, or other equivalent documents are not allowed to apply for a Visa on Arrival.
    • The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, foreigners must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.
    • Please note that the visa validity period differs from the period of stay, so kindly check your visa for information on the length of stay.
    • Non-electronic Visa on Arrival obtained at the airport/seaport/land border must be used after issuance.
    • Foreigners with a stay permit from a B1 visa are not allowed to sell goods or services or receive salary, wages, or compensation for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
