D14 Film-Making and Film Production Visitor Visa

With a D14 visa, you can

     

    visit Indonesia to create films, music videos, reality shows, documentaries, television shows, radio shows, and other similar activities that utilize locations in Indonesia. With this visa, you also can visit tourist spots and see friends and family.

Visa type

     

    The D14 Visa is a visitor visa that allows for multiple entries to Indonesia. It provides an initial stay permit of up to 60 days, beginning from the date of arrival. This stay permit can be extended. However, it cannot be converted into a temporary stay permit

Length of stay

     
    • You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date.
    • You can extend this stay permit several times up to 180 days.
    • Your sponsor can extend your stay permit online through the sponsor's registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id

Cost (PNBP)

     
    • 1 year visa cost IDR 3,000,000
    • Verification cost II IDR 2,000,000
    • 2 years visa cost IDR 5,000,000
    • Verification cost II IDR 2,000,000
    • Sponsors can make payments through several designated Indonesian banks. After the sponsor's visa application is completed, please see the billing code in the system as a basis for visa payment. 

Visa application

     

    Sponsors must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for foreigners. After having an account, the sponsor can apply for a D14 visa for foreigners after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by submitting electronic files (file format details) of foreigners, such as:

    • application letter and sponsor's statement letter,
    • a travel document that is still valid for at least 6 months before it expires,
    • proof of living expenses in Indonesia in the form of a bank statement in the foreigner's or sponsor's name for the last 3 months of at least USD 2000 or an equivalent amount in other currencies,
    • recent color photograph. Details

    • travel itinerary.

Specific requirements

     

    a permit from a government agency regarding the use of a location for filming or shooting activities in Indonesia.

Other provisions

     
    • Foreigners without citizenship or foreigners holding travel documents (not national passports) in the form of temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez passer, or other equivalent documents must attach a Re-Entry Permit document to the country where the visa is applied from and a return ticket/onward ticket to another country.
    • The visa is valid from the date of issuance until the specified expiration date. If the visa is not used during this period, you must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.
    • Foreigners with a stay permit from a D14 visa are not allowed to sell goods or services or receive salary, wages, or compensation for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

Visa application and granting process

     

    Visa application at the Directorate General of Immigration, the officer will:

    • check your documents;
    • verify your immigration fee payment;
    • create your profile in the system and verify;
    • approve your application;
    • issuing your visa.

    Processing time is five working days  after visa payment is received.
