C7 Arts and Cultural Performance Visitor Visa

With a C7 visa, you can

     

    carrying out arts and cultural activities in Indonesia, such as performing, displaying, or presenting a work related to arts and culture, including theatre and circus. With this visa, you also can visit tourist spots and see friends and family.

Visa type

     

    The C7 Visa is a visitor visa for single entry to Indonesia with a first stay permit of up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date. This stay permit is extendable and eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit with the same sponsor.

Length of stay

     
    • You can stay in Indonesia for up to 30 days, starting from the arrival date.
    • You can not extend this stay permit

    • Sponsors can make payments through several designated Indonesian banks. After the sponsor's visa application is completed, please see the billing code in the system as a basis for visa payment. 

Visa application

     

    Sponsors must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for foreigners. After having an account, the sponsor can apply for a C7 visa for foreigners after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by submitting electronic files (file format details) of foreigners, such as:

    • application letter and sponsor's statement letter,
    • a travel document that is still valid for at least 6 months before it expires,

    (untuk pemegang dokumen perjalanan selain paspor kebangsaan seperti paspor darurat, dokumen identitas, dll harus berlaku selama 12 bulan)

    • proof of living expenses in Indonesia in the form of a bank statement in the foreigner's or sponsor's name for the last 3 months of at least USD 2000 or an equivalent amount in other currencies,
    • recent color photograph. Details

Specific requirements

     
    • invitation letter from the event organizer (for general art and cultural event performers); or
    • letter from the impresario or company to the Directorate General of Immigration to apply for visas and a cooperation contract between the performer or their agency and the event organizer (for music performers or crew).

Other provisions

     
    • Foreigners without citizenship or foreigners holding travel documents (not national passports) in the form of temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez passer, or other equivalent documents must attach a Re-Entry Permit document to the country where the visa is applied from and a return ticket/onward ticket to another country.
    • The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, foreigners must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.
    • Please note that the visa validity period differs from the period of stay, so kindly check your visa for information on the length of stay.
    • Foreigners with a stay permit from a C7 visa are permitted to receive compensation or facilities for their activities. However, working in employment relationships with individuals or corporations is prohibited in Indonesia. 

Visa application and granting process

     

    Visa application at the Directorate General of Immigration, the officer will:

    • check your documents;
    • verify your immigration fee payment;
    • create your profile in the system and verify;
    • approve your application;
    • issuing your visa.

    Processing time is five working days  after visa payment is received.
