C1 Tourism Visitor Visa

With a C1 visa, you can

    Visiting Indonesia for tourism, personal development, or to learn about unique tourist attractions, as well as taking cruise ship trips. You can also attend as a participant in meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions, and engage in discussions, negotiations, and/or the signing of business agreements at offices, factories, or goods production sites. You are also permitted to conduct field visits to offices, factories, goods production sites, places for investment, and/or mining sites; as well as engage in medical-related activities.

Visa type

     

    The C1 Visa is a visitor visa for single entry to Indonesia with a first stay permit of up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date. This stay permit is extendable and eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit with

    • You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date.
    • You can extend this stay permit several times up to 180 days.
    • You can extend your stay permit online through the sponsor's registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id

Cost (PNBP)

     
    • Visa C1 cost IDR 1,000,000
    • Verification cost I/II IDR 0
    • You can make payments through several designated Indonesian banks. After the sponsor's visa application is completed, please see the billing code in the system as a basis for visa payment. 

Visa application

     

    Sponsors must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for foreigners. After having an account, the sponsor can apply for a C1 visa for foreigners after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by submitting electronic files (file format details) of foreigners, such as:

    • a travel document that is still valid for at least 6 months before it expires,

    (untuk pemegang dokumen perjalanan selain paspor kebangsaan seperti paspor darurat, dokumen identitas, dll harus berlaku selama 12 bulan)

    • proof of living expenses in Indonesia in the form of a bank statement in the foreigner's or sponsor's name for the last 3 months of at least USD 2000 or an equivalent amount in other currencies,
    • recent color photograph. Details

Other provisions

     
    • Foreigners without citizenship or foreigners holding travel documents (not national passports) in the form of temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, laissez passer, or other equivalent documents must attach a Re-Entry Permit document to the country where the visa is applied from and a return ticket/onward ticket to another country.
    • The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, foreigners must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.
    • Please note that the visa validity period differs from the period of stay, so kindly check your visa for information on the length of stay.
    • Foreigners with a stay permit from a C1 visa are not allowed to sell goods or services or receive salary, wages, or compensation for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

Visa application and granting process

     
    1. Visa application at the Indonesian Representative Office, the officer will:
    • check your documents;
    • fill in your data, scan files, and print a receipt for your application;
    • verify your immigration fee payment;
    • create your profile in the system and verify;
    • approve your application;
    • personalizing, printing, and signing your visa;
    • issuing and delivering your visa.

    Processing time is five working days  after visa payment is received.

    • check your documents;
    • verify your immigration fee payment;
    • create your profile in the system and verify;
    • approve your application;
    • issuing your visa.
